Holiday paradise with a history

More than 200 years ago, the inhabitants of Corvara starting welcoming travellers from all over the world to their beautiful homeland. Starting in the sunny valley they led many an adventurous traveller onto the surrounding peaks of the Sella and Puez ranges, and best of all up the imposing local peak of Mount Sassongher. Shortly after this the first ski schools were opened to give the growing numbers of holiday-makers the chance of some fun on the slopes. To this day Corvara has kept its reputation as one of the most welcoming holiday destinations with a wide range of leisure activities. Rightly so, because this is just as much the destination for daring climbers, hikers and passionate golfers, as for accomplished skiers or mountain bikers.
